Warning to all who enter this car?

After trying to meet with some people unsuccessfully earlier saturday morning, I swung by the shop to say hi and ask the chief on machining some parts for me. Unfortunately for me, the wagon of doom comes back to haunt me. I thought it was done and been received by it's owner. But I guess it came for some extra work.
 

It lives

Over a year has passed since I started on work on the demon wagon. It does sound really good with open exhaust, but now it is muffled. Now you can't hear anything, kinda like when I fart. Be afraid when you see an old toyota wagon. When you hear psst, it may be the filipino (not me) driving calling. But then again it maybe the twin turbos calling you out. Be afraid. I think it's now time to take a break from all this wagon madness.

Confusion

Received a Mishimoto intercooler for the wagon from hell. I look at the box and I see this. All this time I thought Mishimoto was made in Japan. So when something sounds japanese doesn't mean it's actually from japan. But then again it may be another japanese company that's decided to out source to china cause it's so dang cheap.

Back at the shop

It's been over six months since i've been back at the shop to work. But I must keep a promise so i'm back to wire up another car. The car i'm working on is an old Toyota Corona Wagon, with a nice JZ motor. It's been sitting for a couple of years, but finally decided it was time to get it out of the shop.


For an old car its not too bad.

I think it was previously owned by a Japanese guy cause the ashtray is actually being used. We all know americans like dumping their cigarette butts out the window and causing fires.


Let the headache begin. It's good to have patience.

Once it's done, it'll be a screamer. Hopefully the rest of the car will hold up.
