I must give thanks to Longo Toyota for providing the use of their facilities. A nice safe enviroment for all car enthusiasts. Just add some techno and gogo dancers and it'll be like hot import nights. woohoo.
Lots of clean engine bays
And lots of not so clean engine bays. Though this one was a KP61 Starlet. It looks to be more function than fashion, so it shouldn't be awakened. It's powered by a 3TC carburated turbo, I wonder if it's owned by a Puerto Rican.
I see your lightsaber Skywalker. It's in a Cressida.
There was also a special viewing of the Privateer video. If you haven't seen it yet just follow this link.
USDM bumpers for the win! Sure the Japan bumpers are nice. But having period correct parts in the states should include having the proper bumpers.
I guess they just got back from a tarmac rally session. Ouch. I wonder if he's like some owners who end up parting it out instead of fixing it after a small scratch.
I'm pretty sure that's car was residue.
Love the rear fender work. Probably took a bunch of hours to complete. Gotta respect that. No fiberglass on this bad boy.
As usual it was a great turn out. Surprisingly, I saw a couple of old friends I haven't seen in quite sometime. Back when Hondas and drag racing were the norm and the magazine Dsport was known as Dragsport. But if you missed out this year then there's next year. Until then catch the rest of pictures here.
