Changing a power steering rack is always messy and very annoying.  Unfortunately, the power steering rack had finally bit the dust so another one was needed.  It was either that or start heading out to the gym for them friday night arm blasts.

RIP Willie

A guy with a big heart and a passion racing.  It was sad to hear the passing of Big Willie Robinson on jalopnik..  When I first got a car, Will just opened Brotherhood raceway in Terminal Island. Back then I didn't have much interest in racing and fiddling with cars.  But after a few visits, it did a jump start in world of tweaking and racing.  Thanks Mr. Robinson for everything.

Eyes for 3

Time to change how we see things.

 A while back I picked up some used Cibie headlight housings.  During my short stint with Volvo's I found someone selling a set on the turbobricks.com forum.  They were 5-3/4 and a perfect fit for Mr. 3.

Driving sunny

Instead of girls on trampolines, we have girl driving a Nissan Sunny truck. But what's cool is what they're hauling.

Those ceiling fans are humongous

 After my less than stellar track day.  I cleaned up and headed out to Longo Toyota, for the 5th anniversary of AE86 Nights.  It was on the way home anyways.

eXtreme 4-12

It's been some time since I laid ol' barnacle on some tarmac.  Over the weekend, instead of heading to Long Beach Ca. to watch Indy cars.  I decided to head out to Streets of Willow for some fun.

Easter weekend Formula D

Thought I was going to spend a quiet Easter weekend at home.  Maybe working on some projects that I've been neglecting.  But ended up in Long Beach for Formula D.  The weather was spectacular and the smoke was extra thick.

Sooner than I thought

It was just a matter of time before someone stuffs a V8 into the FRS chassis.  Though it didn't come from the good 'ol boys.  And it ain't a Chevy LS motor.  I was surprised that it came from the land of the rising sun.  I guess they realize ain't no replacement for displacement.
